2014 Ford Transit Connect has received a number of improvements last year, and now for the 2014 model year The Oval Company is doing something quite different. With a little help from the Hot Wheels team they are getting ready to introduce to the world the brand new Ford Transit Connect Hot Wheels concept.
This Hot Wheels version of the vehicle is certainly more eye catching than the original. Largely because of the ostentatious paint job it has acquired. In typical orange and blue Hot Wheels colors, the new model of the Transit Connect looks more like an oversized toy car than an actual vehicle. One of the excellent new additions are the effortlessly cool gull wing doors, who replace the old, mundane sliding ones. The carrosserie has been extended by four inches in the front and whole 6 inches in the back. This model also attains some personalized exhaust harbors on both sides of the vehicle. The bumpers, also new, somewhat resemble the ones of the Focus RS and the wheels are custom built 20-inch, dark blue and orange colored.
The interior goes right along with the exterior, extending the blue and orange theme to the inside as well. These colors go really well with the classic black details on the seats and the dashboard. The seats are Recaro pail seats that are inspired by the ones in the Focus ST, and they are sure to provide excellent comfort not only during everyday commutes, but also during those long distance drives. Great additions are the 55 inch display screens right behind the front seats, guaranteed to keep the kids entertained. In addition, smaller 18 inch screens are placed inside the rear door. Also, there is an abundant amount of slide out compartments all around the vehicle.
